Surv. Adamu Audu Adaji
A professional Surveyor, Administrator and inspirational Team-Leader, Adamu Audu Adaji was born on April 4, 1962.
He obtained his First School Leaving Certificate (FSLC) & West African School Certificate (WASC ‘O’ Level) in 1975 and 1980 respectively.

He studied Surveying at the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University (A.B.U), Zaria, where he graduated with a B.Sc. Land Surveying with a 2nd Class Upper Division, in 1986. During his National Youth Service he served as a Lecturer at the Federal School of Soil Conservation, Kuru-Jos, and later joined the Department of Surveying at ABU, Zaria, as a Lecturer. For his second degree, he graduated with M.Sc. in Land Surveying in 1989 from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a Master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA) in 1996 from the University of Maiduguri.

He is a member of the Surveyors Registration Council of Nigeria (SURCON) and Nigerian Institute of Surveyors (NIS).
In 1987, Surv. Adamu Adaji was seconded to the National Boundary Commission. He progressively attained the ranks of Assistant Chief Surveyor (1992-1993); Liaison Officer, North-East Zone covering 8 States (1993-1997); Chief Surveyor
(Interstate Boundaries – 1997-1999); Acting Head of Department (Inter-State Boundaries – 1999-2000); Chief Surveyor (Inter-State Boundaries – 2000-2004); Assistant Director (Inter-State Boundaries – 2004-2008); Deputy Director (Internal Boundaries – 2008-2014); and Director (Internal Boundaries – 2014-2019).

On August 7, 2020 – with some twenty-eight years’ cognate experience in the Commission, Surv. Adamu Audu Adaji was deservedly elevated to the rank of Director-General/Chief Executive Officer of the Agency.
